IRIS TIME – mid to end of May

The new iris area in the Prairie area is looking good and our collection of Cayeux Irises will look stunning over the next few weeks. These will be complemented by the siberian and ensata irises in the damp garden.

POPPY MEADOW – 21st May – mid June

The fantastic range of ecstatic colours of our poppies will be looking particularly good this year. Although now a smaller area due to the expanding prairie and iris garden we know you will enjoy this annual spectacle.

WILD FLOWER MEADOW – June

The hard winter and very dry Spring has been good news for the meadow so we expect a stunning meadow full of flowers this year.

ROSES – June/ July

Our roses need no explanation apart from we have more this year.

PRAIRIE SUMMER - July and August

Our new prairie garden full of mid summer colour – grasses swaying in the gentle breeze complimented by rich summer perennials such as achillea, salvia, rudbeckia etc. When most gardens start  to tire ours has a burst of colour.

GLORIOUS LATE SUMMER – August and September

Dahlias, and late summer perennials add a richness to the garden enhancing this beautiful time of the year.
